Strange behavior of Jupiter and Neptune
This article is based on work I did for my October 2009 newsletter. It is written for astrologers and the general public alike, so the explanations are straightforward and straightforward. But while working on the article, a completely different approach opened up. I couldn't use it for the general public (too technical) but it had a good flow of information for astrologers and a speculative concept that I have been considering about the shadow effect of planetary stations. The general article is titled Jupiter Conjunct Neptune: Inspiration or Illusion and has the following material led by the astrologer:
Astrologically speaking ...
Jupiter conjunct Neptune: inspiration or deception?
For me, the research is ongoing, for my current book, for my largest book on presidents, for my other studies, such as my research on serial killers, and for interesting topics that come up moment by moment. Sometimes there are so many interesting topics that I stray. Life itself is so diverse, so huge, that a single life would not be enough to satisfy my curiosity. The battle between conformity and change is still going strong, but I touched on that earlier. There is another aspect underway that reaches a tipping point on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 that deserves attention. Jupiter and Neptune in transit have been making a great union in the sky for several months and are preparing to finish their dance. The action of October 13 is the beginning of the end, but not the end itself.
Jupiter conjunct Neptune is one of those multi-month patterns, one that I had thought was inspiring and uplifting in nature. The two planets that represent expansion and inspiration, which most closely resemble our concept of religion and spirituality, the great benefic and the elevator, have been in a positive union of energies (conjunction). I wonder why he's been giving people, including me, a fit. Obviously some first person stories were difficult. I recommend this conjunction to be a positive influence on our experience. I chose to publish my book in this light. The actual effect has been a real puzzle for me. Why?
Jupiter represents the principle of expansion, enlargement, profit, the positive side, more and better. Neptune represents the principle of spirituality, inspiration, ideas, imagination, elevation. Having said that, planets are neither good nor bad and both sides of the coin can express the positive words I listed and their negative connotation as well. Upgrading can become overpromising, overpromising and under-delivering, risking, underestimating or overestimating. Ideas can turn into impossible dreams, inspiration can turn into disappointment, spirituality can turn into illusion. The aspect involved is a union of the two energies. Jupiter and Neptune together do not usually create a problem and this happens every 13 years with a sign change. This time the sign is Aquarius, intellectual, progressive, group consciousness, electric and dynamic. Overall, expansion and inspiration hand in hand in the sign of the future should be pretty pretty and there shouldn't be an urgent need to look at negative ธรรมชาติสุดแปลก.
This is an unfinished look, so perhaps the result will overshadow the process itself. That happens in life. Sometimes things look great, but the result is not welcome. Sometimes things seem bleak, but we turn out well. I really prefer it when "what you see is what you get". That makes my reading and my life much easier for not saying anything about my clients' lives. This should be a good look. I don't see anything really wrong with it and no real reason to doubt the result, but it sure is acting strange.
